A mini-roadie to see my sister-in-law and her almost-husband was a nice little break away. The boys helped drive the tractor, and we all jumped in the truck to go round up 1800 sheep. We got muddy, and stretched our legs in the fresh air, and it was goooooood.
I’ve been running at least twice a week, and have just started going to Active Mums twice a week instead of just once. I feel fitter than I have in a long time, and I’ve been enjoying exercising with friends; I used to prefer solo runs and zoning out to music at the gym, but being able to chat with friends makes it all so much more fun.
My cold has mixed with hayfever, and my sinuses don’t know whether they want to be blocked or leaking. I’d prefer neither, myself.
There are more daffodils in our garden this spring than last year. They are the happiest flowers, and I love them. I’m always torn, however, as to whether I should leave them in the garden, or pick them to have inside.
Tiny has been going to a longer day at kindy, just once a week, with a focus on starting to prepare them for school. School. Gulp. It still feels so far away…but it will come round quicker than I’d like.
Tall is away for two weeks and while it sucks, I’m trying to focus on the positives. Like not being teased for putting on my pjs at 7pm, and not having to share the last piece of chocolate cake, and watching all the girly films I’ve MySkyed lately, and dealing with a poorly toddler and a poorly preschooler by myself….yeah, maybe not that last part so much.
