Things I’m Loving

~ white crust slices, toasted (preferably twice, so they’re extra-crunchy with a bit of charring at the edges), with margarine and Marmite for breakfast. One of those unexplainable pregnancy food things that I am happy to roll with (if I don’t throw it up, I’m going to eat it all I can!).


~ the sudden and blissful end of an horrific patch of Tiny’s terribly early wakings and screamings at bedtime. Honestly, it was like a switch was turned on, and then off a couple of weeks later, without any need for intervention.

~ getting back my cooking mojo but still having the ability to make Mussaman curry using Panang curry paste. Oops.


~ The Australian Open…specifically, the exciting semi-final between Nadal and Federer. I was backing Federer though 😦

~ that my morning all-day sickness seems to be abating and I’m slowly starting to gain back some weight – hurrah!

  1. I am so with you on the toast and marmite, about all I wanted (along with apples) when pregnant with Button. This one has been easy, and I have had no nausea – but have craved sweet stuff, can’t get enough chocolate (which I couldn’t face with Button)! Weird huh!
